Hi, iM JOSH!
Growing up in the glorious mother city of Cape Town, I have had the privilege of exploring and photographing the most beautiful city in the world. And spending my infant to younger years either on my mother’s back venturing through the mountains or in the backseat of my dad’s car road tripping across the country, my desire for exploration, adventure and natural beauty has grown into an obsession.
With just under 5 years of experience in photography and 3 years in filmmaking dealing with international travel companies, national tourism boards and some of most established brands in South Africa. I have developed an identity of providing exceptional hands on service to my clients, incredible imagery and passionate motion pieces. Crafting work that not only I take pride in, but my clients do as well.
I define myself as an adventure and travel photographer, but these days I find myself in a large variety of situations and projects. Whether in studio, out in the field or on a variety of set types. I have found my dedication to the craft and wealth of experience has allowed me to venture into a wide range of projects without the fear of being unable to hold up my desired quality of work.
Visual media, whether in the realm of stills or motion is the forefront of today’s world. Being able to tell compelling stories, communicate effectively to an audience and potential customers as well as establish a connection with viewers are the vital tools that allow myself to deliver work that guarantees results for my clients and partners.
